The Belkin F9K1106 wifi booster is designed to be big, iconic and meant to stand out. It has internal antennas, four LAN ports, but no USB or audio jacks and ships with a stand on which it sits.
Just like the Belkin F9K1122, it doesn’t perform well in environments where there are a high number of WiFi networks, suffering significantly from interference. This Belkin WiFi booster clocks in at just 112.7 Mbps in 2.4 Ghz and has a range of approximately 125 feet. In terms of bandwidth, the Belkin F9K1106 had roughly half that of the Linksys RE6500 and D-Link DAP 5120.
At its relatively low cost you may look at the Belkin F9K1106 as being a steal, however, if you’re looking for a WiFi booster that offers balanced performance than you may want to look at some of the better options on the market, many of which we cover on our best WiFi boosters page.
